WorldMatch's strategic focus on the Brazilian market

What were the main products or services you presented at this first edition of SBC Summit Rio?

At the inaugural SBC Summit Rio, WorldMatch showcased an extensive portfolio of gaming content, emphasizing our dedication to quality and innovation in the iGaming industry. Our stand at the Exposition & Convention Windsor Center in Rio, located strategically at level -1, featured a comprehensive collection of video slots, offering a variety of themes, high-quality graphics, and immersive soundtracks. In addition to slots, we presented an array of table games, including classics like blackjack and roulette, designed with realistic graphics and engaging gameplay. Our video poker selection catered to enthusiasts with multiple variants, offering a mix of traditional and innovative gameplay mechanics. Furthermore, our slider games, a unique offering in our portfolio, provided an innovative gaming experience, blending traditional game mechanics with inventive features. Our presence at the event was a testament to our commitment to delivering diverse and high-quality gaming content to the market.

How are you adapting to the local Brazilian regulations?

WorldMatch is proactively positioning itself in anticipation of the evolving regulatory landscape in Brazil. We understand the importance of the Brazilian market in the Latin American region and believe it will emerge as a leading market once it is fully regulated. Our strategy involves closely monitoring the regulatory developments, with a keen eye on the potential for regulation to materialize either in the fourth quarter of this year or sometime next year. This approach ensures that we remain adaptable and ready to comply with local regulations as they are established, demonstrating our commitment to becoming a key player in Brazil's regulated gaming market. Our anticipation of the regulatory environment reflects our strategic planning and readiness to embrace the opportunities that regulation will present.

What are your company's expansion plans in the Brazilian market?

WorldMatch has a strategic focus on deepening its presence within the Brazilian market over the coming years. Our initial approach has been to establish close relationships with Brazilian customers, which has facilitated ongoing dialogues with several key players in the local market. These discussions are now progressing towards more substantive negotiations, reflecting our readiness to expand our footprint in Brazil. Our expansion strategy encompasses not only the introduction of our existing and future gaming content but also the establishment of partnerships and collaborations with local companies, aiming to deliver tailored gaming solutions that resonate with the preferences of Brazilian players. This plan reflects our long-term commitment to the Brazilian market and our belief in its potential as a significant hub for iGaming in Latin America.

What aspects of SBC Summit Rio did you find most relevant or attractive?

The SBC Summit Rio stood out for its exceptional organization, strategic location, and the significant attendance it garnered. Firstly, the organization of the event was impeccable, with SBC demonstrating its expertise in hosting an event of this scale, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all participants. The choice of 'La Barra' as the location provided an ideal backdrop for both the professional and social aspects of the summit, enhancing the overall value of the event. The vicinity to attractive venues for post-show activities facilitated networking and relaxation in a unique setting. Lastly, the large turnout of delegates and visitors not only underscored the event's importance in the gaming industry's calendar but also positioned Rio as a pivotal point in the new Latin American gaming roadmap. These elements combined to create an engaging and productive environment for all attendees.

What opportunities for collaboration or partnership emerged among the companies present at the event?

The SBC Summit Rio proved to be a fertile ground for exploring potential collaborations and partnerships, particularly with entities focused on online casinos, sportsbooks, and platform or aggregator services. WorldMatch identified and engaged with several companies that align with our strategic interests in these areas. Our interactions ranged from preliminary discussions to more in-depth conversations about potential collaborations, indicating a productive use of our time at the event. These opportunities are vital for expanding our network and exploring new avenues for growth, emphasizing our commitment to building lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

What is your vision for the future of iGaming in the Brazilian market and in Latin America?

WorldMatch envisions Brazil playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the iGaming industry in Latin America. Given its market size and potential, Brazil is uniquely positioned to lead the charge among Latin American countries in embracing and regulating online gaming. Our vision sees Brazil not only catching up with established markets like Colombia but also setting a benchmark for emerging markets, such as Peru and others poised for regulation. By taking a leadership role, Brazil can significantly influence the direction of the online gaming industry in the region, promoting responsible gaming, innovation, and economic growth. WorldMatch is committed to supporting this vision by delivering high-quality gaming content and engaging with the local market to foster a sustainable and thriving gaming ecosystem in Brazil and beyond.
